Friday Newsletter 22-12-2023

Dear KIS and KIT Community,

As someone who has been in school administration for a long time, witnessing how enjoyable, fun, organized, and like a big family we were last Sunday was beautiful.

Winterfest has been an important day where our teachers, students, and all stakeholders come together, preparing for the new year with new hopes. We thank the PTO, teachers, and students who contributed to this day.

FIELD TRIPS

This Tuesday, all middle school 5th, 6th, and 7th-grade students visited the Koç Museum as part of their Mathematics class. This trip was organized for students to reinforce mathematical concepts in a dynamic and kinesthetic way through hands-on, physically interactive exhibits in the colorful world of mathematics. They all enjoyed the beautiful December weather and World of Maths.

WEBSITES

We have been renewing our website to reflect our school's activities, events, vision, and mission. We would be delighted if you visited both Keystone and Kilittaşı websites.

ACADEMIC UPDATES

ELA teachers have assigned readings to all students to encourage them to read as a leisure activity. No other homework has been assigned since we will have exams after we return from the winter break, but we recommend our students revise the subjects during their time off.

Dear KIS Preschool Community,

As the year draws to a close, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the trust and support you have given us in caring for your cherished little ones. Your confidence in our preschool community has been the foundation of a beautiful year filled with laughter, growth, and learning. We extend warm wishes to you and your families as we approach the holiday season. May the festive moments be filled with joy, creating lasting memories that will warm your hearts throughout the coming year. Looking ahead to 2024, we envision a year of continued exploration, curiosity, and achievement for each child under our care. May the new year bring health, happiness, and countless shared wonder and discovery moments. With hopeful hearts, we wish you and your loved ones a holiday season brimming with love and a new year that unfolds with luck and goodwill. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of nurturing your children. Wishing you a joyful holiday and a 2024 filled with endless possibilities.

PS:  After our one-week vacation, we would like to inform parents of our Age 3 children that their sleeping time will be reduced by 30 minutes. During this time, they will participate in quiet activities.

We wish you a merry New Year full of joy, happiness, and peace.
