Round Square

Round Square is a worldwide association of 200 schools from 50 countries which share a commitment to personal development and responsibility through the six pillars of Internationalism, Democracy, Environment, Adventure, Leadership and Service as part of a fundamental objective – the full and individual development of every student into a whole person. This commitment is reflected in life at Keystone International Schools – both within the curriculum and beyond the classroom.

Keystone International Schools became a candidate member of Round Square Organization in the year of 2019. And, we are very proud to be a Global Member of the same organization since July, 2020.

Being a part of this organization gives us different opportunities, such as teacher and student exchange programs, sharing good practices, access to the resource library and taking an active part in the service projects.

Our students participated in the Round Square Virtual Conferences with 300 international students and virtual collaborative projects. They have taken part in the Round Square Global Debate 2021. Our students, parents and teachers donated their steps to SMA-DER as a part of our New Year Competition. We also started the virtual exchange program.

In the previous years, our students took part in the Round Square International Conference in India. They participated in the Eurasia Marathon for the benefit of Tohum Autism Foundation and took responsibility for the sale of the products of the same foundation. They organized a bottle cap collection campaign to support the Spinal Cord Paralysis Association of Turkey. With our Giving Train campaign, they raised donations to meet the clothing needs of students who study at our sister school. They organized stationery aid to the students for another school in Kars.
