Field Trips

School field trips are hands-on learning experiences and an effective method of teaching. They offer students the opportunity to learn in a different environment and stimulate the desire to learn more about a place, a historical event, technology, nature or art.

Students and teachers interact with each other in a different environment and can discover different parts of each others' personalities and new skills. Through visits to different parts of the city, they get to know and appropriate the place where they live and can also share this knowledge with others in their family.

At Keystone, field trips are linked to the curriculum of various subjects and students are given tasks to perform either before, during or after the trip to encourage deeper reflection and a more intense experience.
